WOW!! I can’t even describe what I am feeling right now….I still don’t think it’ s acctualy hit me that I am here!! God is so amazing!! Our travels went well– VERY LONG, but no problems. I pretty much slept through all three fights!(thank God for dramamine) I feel very refreshed today! When we got here it was pooring rain..but a small group of us walked a couple blocks to a market to get some food. It was so good—a huge plate of pad thai costs us less than one dollar! And it was amazing.
We are staying in Bangkok at a YWAM base for a couple days until we travel to our ministry locations. The base is nice—we have beds 🙂 I was reading this morning, and God showed me the passage Jeremiah 1:4-19. The verses 6-8 really spoke to me
—“O Sovereign Lord”, I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young.” “Don’t say that”. The Lord replied, “for you must go where ever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. ‘I the Lord have spoken!”
God is sovereign, and He is telling me where to go, what to do and who to speak to. I can’t do this on my own.
Thank you for all your prayers for me and my team in these past few days of travel—they were felt. Please continue to pray–for me specifically, I am still in need of financial support. Now that I am acctualy here, I can’t imagine having to go home early because of lack of money. But God is good, and I trust that He will provide if He wants me here. Oh, please pass my blog site onto ANYONE you want–the more people that are connected to what the Lord is doing around the world, the better! Our teams will be moving out into our ministry locations in a couple days. I’m not sure how internet access will be—but I’m sure I will be updating soon enough.
