So we have this book, “His Princess Warrior: Love Letters
for Strength from Your Lord� by Sheri Rose Shepherd. It is full of little
letters or devotionals from the Lord. We as a team flip through this book often
asking the Lord for a love letter. This week God has been consistent giving me this specific letter twice along with a sermon saying the same thing. When I hear something 3 times I know I better pay attention. This is
the love letter….
My Princess Warrior,
I have so many blessings I want to pour out on you. However,
you hold the keys that unlock the amazing plans I have for your life. It is your
obedience to Me that will open the windows of heaven for you to receive. If you
trust Me, I will bless you with peace. If you share with others what I have
given to you, I will give you even more. If you choose My will over your
rights, I will give you great favor wherever you go. If you will pray, I will
give you the power to change the world around you, My beloved Warrior. All that
I ask is that you love and obey My commands, and you and your family will be
forever blessed because of your obedience to Me!

“If you fully obey the
Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord
your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings
will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.�
Deuteronomy 28:1-2
The first day I read this letter the sentence about choosing
God’s will over my rights stuck out because I was struggling with giving up my
rights and control of my schedule and life. But then today I read it again and
I saw something new….something the Lord began speaking through a fellow’s
sister’s sermon…
“If you fully obey the Lord your God…� “
All that I ask is that you love and obey My commands…�
When I read this I thought about the Old Testament and Scripture
commands about loving our neighbor and etc. But then God gave me revelation….
“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I
give you today.�
God proceeded…..Megan, I’m asking you to be obedient in what
I give you today. I am entrusting you with the Holy Spirit and you hear my
voice. I’m asking you to be obedient to my voice and what I command you to do TODAY. To speak when I give you a word, to act when I show you a need, to be my
voice and my hands and feet. When you do this I will set you high above all the
nations and blessings will come upon you.
OHH…..yes I have been holding back and not being obedient in
ALL you are giving me.
He wasn’t finished…..
THEN Loma (the woman we are staying with) came out on the porch and gave me more…she came out and said,
turn to Isaiah 48:17-20…
“This is what the Lord says — your Redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel:
“I am the Lord your God
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.
If
only you had paid attention to my commands,
your peace would have been like a river,
your righteousness like the waves of the sea….
Leave Babylon, flee from the Babylonians! Announce this with
shouts of joy and proclaim it. Sent it out to the ends of the earth; SAY, “The Lord has redeemed his servant
Jacob.�
After reading it, with her powerful Godly authority, she
continued with more wisdom….
“Sometimes we question what God told us thinking we were
making it up in our minds but we need to FLEE….flee and send back all the fears
or doubt that hold us back from speaking what the Lord tells us. Say it….SAY IT
with shouts of joy and the Lord redeemed his servant Megan.�
Thank you Lord! She was obedient and came and gave me that
word and man was it beautiful and timely! Thank you
for giving me this message not just twice this week, but three times (the
number of completion). I’ve heard you now and this blog is a part of that. You
asked me to write a blog about what you spoke today and to not worry about it
being all put together and packaged.
So here it is. What God wanted to share today not just with
me but with YOU. God has entrusted you with the Holy Spirit and as my sister
Stacey said in her sermon — “If God tells you to do something and you say no,
the power of His work dies at your feet. His majesty is stopped.�
Don’t let God’s power stop at your feet. I pray that today
YOU obey God’s commands. That you speak when He tells you. That you act when he
speaks. And that you receive peace and blessings because of your obedience.
