I come to you tonight on behalf of my friend Renee
back in the states. I am asking for your prayers and for you to believe with me in a God capable of miracles.
She has been having issues with her esophagus and ability to eat for years. It has progressively become worse in the
last year and she has been searching for answers and healing but coming up
empty handed.
She recently DID receive answers from doctors at Henry Ford Hospital, Praise God! They said has a very
advanced and severe case of Achalasia – a rare disease of the esophagus that
keeps it from relaxing and allowing food to pass through it to the
stomach. Renee’s esophagus is not functioning at all, which is causing
her ongoing pain and discomfort.
They originally scheduled her for a VERY HIGH RISK surgery on September
8th. In this
surgery her esophagus
would be completely removed and her stomach would be moved up to begin to
fullfil the function that her esophagus has not been able to.Her surgery would
take a minimum of 6 hours, and she would be expected to be in the hospital
about 10 days.Her surgical recovery time is estimated at 2-3 months, and it is
expected that it will take 3-6 months, for her body to adjust.
upcoming surgery. Tomorrow morning – August 10th at 10am
she is going
in for a less invasive surgery to release the sphincter between the esophagus
and the stomach in hope of jumpstarting the esophagus into operation.
that you lift up my sister Renee believing in God’s healing. We are
praying and believing that this surgery tomorrow WILL jumpstart her esophagus
into operation and she will be healed! We are believing that she WILL be able
to eat again and that she will be fully restored. Please join us as we pray to our God and Healer!
for 2 days now and is enjoying the food! Praise GOD!!!! She should be
released from the hospital in the next day or two. Believing this will
continue and praising God for FULL healing!!! Thank you all for your prayers!
