I hope Jesus would smash it.

And that is what He has done over and over and over again here on the
race. You see i have this terrible habit of every time God explodes
the box I put Him in, I create a slightly bigger box for Him. No
matter how many times He shows me He’s bigger than I can understand, I
still try to break Him down to fit in to my life the way I want Him
to. What’s interesting is I don’t realize I’ve created a new box,
until He explodes it.

Yes, slowly, but surely, the boxes get bigger, but when will I be able
to get rid of them all together. I know God is capable of so many
amazing things, but we don’t give Him the room to work, when we limit
Him. And we limit Him in so many ways. When we always talk, but never
spend time listening. When we believe we can only hear from Him in
certain ways. When we put limits on our own capabilities instead of
dreaming big and asking for God’s help. Or refusing to be obedient,
because we would have to fully rely on God’s provision instead of
being able to provide for ourselves.

God doesn’t always call us to the easy things. The hard things are
where He is more easily seen. Some times He tests our faith and
obedience by calling us out to take a risk, to step out. Have you put
Jesus in a box? Are you giving Him space to work in your life?
