Something the Lord has been placing on my heart this whole month is IDENTITY.
When He first presented it to me, I had no idea where He'd be taking me with it. And really, even if I had known what He'd be teaching me, I still would have had no clue just how DEEP He'd be taking me into the heart of the Father.
When I used to think of identity, I always thought of "placing my identity in Christ," and rightly so, because that's exactly where it belongs.
BUT. It can go deeper.
much, much deeper.
Bear with me because I'm still being taught more and more each day (which I'm sure will continue throughout my entire life), but this is what God has been speaking into me over the past week or so.
You and I,
WE are His beloved!
We are all the ONE He longs for and loves with immense tenderness and compassion!!!
Holy moly, if we could all grasp this Truth, I'm convinced we'd never care much about anything else ever again!

Isaiah 43:1-4 says, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, YOU ARE MINE. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…Because you are PRECIOUS in my eyes, and HONORED, and I LOVE YOU…"
Can we just pause for a second?
Let's think about that for a minute, meditate on it, and really let it sink in…
THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, WHO MADE THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING IN IT AND OUTSIDE OF IT….
HE FLIPPIN LOVES YOU WITHOUT END!!!
WITHOUT FAIL.
WITH NO AGENDA EXCEPT TO JUST BE WITH YOU EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY.
He is so WORTHY, and we are not.
But He doesn't even care! He gives zero cares of how "worthy" we think we are or not.
He tells us to cast off the idea of "worthiness" and just BE! Just be with Him! Just love Him back! Because even though you and I have done nothing to deserve it, and even though He knows every little thing about us (the good, the bad, and the ugly), He already loves us DEEPLY!!! And there's nothing we can do to change it!
So just embrace it.
Receive it.
And give Him the glory that He is so worthy of 🙂
