Because pictures say so much more than words…
Such beautiful faces:

“Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, ‘Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.”- Luke 18:16
We hiked to the top of the mountain to watch the sunset and God gave us this sight:

“Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, ‘I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”- John 8:12
This is what the view looks like from the back of a truck while on a two and a half hour drive to a village:

“I look up to the mountain-does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!”- Psalm 121:1-2
Example of the houses in the villages:

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds their house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.”- Matthew 7:24-25
We slept in our tents through hurricane force winds(ok maybe that's exaggerating a little bit):

"He causes the clouds to rise over the whole earth. He sends the lightning with the rain and releases the wind from his storehouses."- Psalm 135:7
Such a blessing to have hot chocolate and for it to be prepared in such an interesting way:

"I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain."- Psalm 143:6
