I expect these to be some of the questions I am asked as I begin telling people all around me about going on the World Race so I hope with this blog you will be able to understand why I am leaving behind my life to go love and minister to others.
Over a year ago I felt like God was pushing me and wanting me to do some kind of international mission trip but I had no clue where to start. I just began praying that if God truly wanted me to go on an international mission trip that He would open a door or show me how to get connected. I didn’t know what organization to through so I just prayed and waited.
And then it happened. Last November I learned about the World Race and came immediately home and went straight to the website. At that moment I knew this was it. This was the trip I had been praying about. This was the step God wanted me to make to go and love others just as He loves me. He has called me to GO and be the hands and feet of Christ to men, women, and children all around the world. I couldn't be more excited to step out and begin this journey in my life. I know there will be many challenges along the way. I also know that God is going to break me. But through it all He is going to use me to minister to others and teach me so much about myself and Him. My father has called, I am following!
