To all the moms missing their sons and daughters, the men and women traversing around the world in order to bring the love of Jesus to people from all nations:
Happy Mother's Day!
Know you are loved!
To my own mother, I will get to see you in just 20 days and I will be able to give you the BIGGEST bear hug, which, I know is all you really want right now. Until then, this will have to suffice:

I love you mommy, Momma K, mother-dearest…you are one of my best friends, my biggest supporter (alongside dad, of course), my faithful, prayer warrior, and my fellow "big dreamer."
Thank you for sharing me with the world and encouraging me in my walk with God. This journey has been a lot easier with you back home praying for me and loving me from a distance. I am so thankful that we got to have that surprise visit two months ago in Kenya; the Parent Vision Trip was a blessing we did not expect. It was an honor to do ministry alongside you and dad. You both helped remind me of what it looks like to have "childlike faith."
I was able to go into my last three months with refreshed eyes and a rejuvenated spirit after spending one week with you and dad. Thank you for taking the opportunity and chance to fly halfway around the world to spend a week with me and the other crazy and wonderful Racers and their parents.
My last leg of this journey has been monumentally influenced by your positive spirit, just like the rest of my life has been. Thank you for loving me well and not letting me settle for the temporary pleasures of this world…you help bring Kingdom to Earth and I know our Father in heaven is SO proud of you — His fearfully and wonderfully made daughter.
I love you mommy and I will see you SO soon!
love you most 😉
And to all the wonderful women who have stood in as my mothers in the past 11 months, my mom and myself thank you!
Thank you Nidia in Honduras, Oty in Guatemala, Mrs. Evelyn Cedeño in Nicaragua, Mrs. Cami Golas in Romania, Anya in Transnistria, Amanda (mom/big sister) in Thailand, Paulla and Chiang Lin in Cambodia, Joy and Pastor Jackie in Uganda, Agnes in Rwanda, and Trufena and Mama Evelyn in Kenya. And of course to our wonderful squad mama, Mom Marcy Dawson!!!
You all have made me feel welcomed, loved, comforted and like a cherished daughter…Happy Mother's Day!
