Welcome to our home away from home for month 2: Joy Filled Home, an orphanage and school for children with special needs in Chimaltenango, Guatemala (close to the well known city, La Antigua). We are paired up with only one other team this month (instead of being with the whole squad, like last month): Team OIL and Team Isha coming together to love and be loved!
I wanted to give you all a tour of our new home, so please enjoy my little video!
Also, some BIG prayer requests:
• There is a lot of sickness spreading throughout my squad and especially through my team right now, so prayer for supernatural, God-given healing is much appreciated =) Specifically: two girls are having some stomach issues and I have had a sore through and headache for the past few days…we are all walking into healing, but your prayers are still needed!
• For my team and Team Isha to come together and bond like no two teams have before and that we have a life-changing month here at Joy Filled Home with all these sweet, beautiful children.
• Need some intense prayers against darkness and the enemy's attacks — he seems to think he has a fighting chance against us, when we all know our Father has already defeated him, and since we have the Holy Spirit in us, we can claim that defeat, as well. ¡Lo siento pero no lo siento! So prayers for continued protection against the enemy's attacks for my team and my whole squad.
