:: trusting that God will provide ::
I’ve lived this year on less than $20,000. And while most people don’t make their financial income public, I will. I’ve made a little less than $15,000. Has it been a rough year? You bet. Has it been a glorious year that I wouldn’t take back for anything? Most definitely.
God has provided for me in some of the most awe-inspiring ways.
I have to admit that this is probably one of the most humbling jobs that a person can have working for a missions organization that has sent over 85,000 missionaries to the field since it’s birth. You’re constantly living an interdependent lifestyle with those around you, sometimes those others being scattered all across the United States (and in my case, many are overseas!). I have had a killer support base this year though and I wouldn’t have been able to do the things I did without them. And for that, I’m incredibly thankful!
And I want to build on that foundation.
My support goal this time is $20,000 and I’m determined to reach it! So far I have raised roughly $3,300 for 2010. I only have $16,602 to go! If you’d be interested in becoming a financial partner of mine and pledging some support for 2010, you can do so by
sending me an email here and letting me know who you are and how much you’re willing to pledge. If you would like to be a prayer partner, you can do so by
sending an email and letting me know that you’d like to be a prayer partner.
My financial support will help me with day-to-day expenses like bills, keeping up with my student loan payments, groceries, gas, health insurance, travel, and the like.
Simple? Indeed it is.
Here’s a brief glimpse at what I’m planning in 2010:
Continuing to work as a member of the Marketing and Mobilization team of AIM
We get the word out about missions and what God’s doing around the world
Continuing work with the World Race
Training World Racers
Training Worship Leaders for the field
International travel to launches and debriefs
Lead worship at the 2nd Annual World Race Awakening Conference in Europe
We’re planning on sending out about 500 World Racers in 2010!
Worship Leader Development
Something we hope to begin doing more and more through AIM
Human Trafficking Awareness
I have a passion for anti-trafficking initiatives and campaigns as well as generating awareness on the issue; interested in starting my own campaign and intend to pursue that in 2010
Innovation Lab
I’m part of a team at AIM that develops new programs and offerings through the organization. It’s how the
World Race
started. We come up with ideas for new things, test them out, and
run with them. We’re launching our first major project the first of
the new year that helps missionaries transition when coming off of the
field after a long period of time.
So what will you pledge? Will you help me reach my support goal in 2010? Please prayerfully consider it!
P.S. I’m sending out a year-end newsletter within the week. If you would like a copy (digital or print), let me know by sending me an email here! I’d love to give you one!
