In case you didn’t catch the latest in my blogs… I’ve been in Antigua, Guatemala this week helping with the launch of the October 2009 World Race squad. I absolutely love it here! In fact, I love it so much I just may not get back on the plane today. Actually, I should. I don’t want to though – know that much.

Here are some quick highlights from the week:
I’m in Guatemala. There really isn’t much more to add to that. This is probably the biggest highlight of my entire week – just the fact that I’m in Guatemala. Can I reiterate that anymore? I was just talking to Andi, one of the squad leaders this morning, and I told her that “borderlined… I think I could live here in Antigua.” It’s one of those cities I could spend a long time in. And being here just makes me want to learn Spanish fluently.
Worship. I’ll tell you what, if I could worship in every single place that I go, I think that I would. It’s actually one of the reasons that I came down here to launch – to help with worship. Either it’s a ridiculous passion of mine or a calling that the Lord has put on my life. I fully believe it’s the latter, therefore, I’m desiring to press deeper into it. I think I’ve said this a lot in recent posts. I sense a theme here…
Coffee. If you’ve never had Guatemalan coffee… you must try it! It’s probably the best place to drink coffee on the planet. And trust me, I’ve been all over the world and I’ve had coffee in every place that I’ve been. This place is the best. I even bought a pound of it to take home with me.
Rhema. No, I’m not talking about one of the October 2009 WR teams. I’m talking about the actual word of God. Ever since I’ve been here, it’s as if God unstopped my ears, so much so that I’ve audibly heard His voice wake me up in the middle of the night just to say stuff to me. I’m taking that ability back with me…
That’s all for this update. I’m getting ready to head to the airport. I’ll write more next week!
