Party @ the Sinda’s. Had a big birthday bash for all of those with July birthdays at one of our friend’s homes on Sunday. It was a lot of fun. We had soda, hot dogs, cake, fire, flarp and great conversations. I also got to go out on the ATV, which was a lot of fun. I ended up bottoming out, couldn’t figure out how to get the thing in four-wheel drive (because it was in two-wheel), and had to lift the entire thing over a log to get unstuck. Why yes, I am very strong…
Dudes unite. Tuesday we had man night. Rusty came over and we grilled steaks, sat outside and grunted. Then Doug, one of my good friends in PoHo came over and we talked about manly things and grunted some more. For some reason, I was so tired at 10pm I crashed as soon as I laid down in bed. I slept very well until I woke up at 6:45 in the morning.
Family dinner. Had a great time with Michael and Kathy Hindes last night (and the rest of the Michigan crew). Great lasagna, wine, and teaching of the Word. I wish everyone could be a part of it. Guess you’ll just have to come next time…
Wish List. So I’ve been asked by many people for a very long time what a list of things I want to read is. I haven’t caved into their requests because I’m stubborn and don’t want people buying things for me. But… alas… because I’m a poor missionary (who can’t even afford to leave the country yet)… I’m dying to read things. I made a wish list on Amazon. You can check it out and buy books for me if you wish. I also put a camera on there I’m drooling over…
