I am turning in my badge(s), in less than 60 days.

WOW! That puts some things in perspective, time sure does fly. During the last year and a half, I have been a firefighter non-stop, almost every day and night between Caromi, Sullivan’s Island, C&B, and Patriot’s Point. In less than 60 days that will all change. No more middle of the night alarms, no more lights and sirens, no more structure fires, or water rescues. No more medical calls, no more lift assist’s, no more saves, things will change drastically. Most would say that is one, if not the, most serious callings.

However, there is one that is more serious and has far more reaching consequences than any call I’ll go on as a firefighter, the status of someone’s eternity. In the hustle and bustle of the “NOW” generation that society is in, we often forget to look up from what we are doing, to see the horizon; to plot a course. People often wander throughout their lives and never have a course plotted, something to stick to and go by; something to hold tight to. Thankfully, God, the creator of the universe, provides both the course and something to hold tight to during the storms that come and go in our lives. Do you know Him? Do you believe that He has provided a course for your life? Do you believe that His word is true and worth holding onto?

Over the next 11 months, I will be taking those same questions to the people of Spain, Morocco, Cyprus, Jordan, Israel, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and China. Will you partner with me in this and consider giving to my World Race funding?
