When I first started researching the World Race and I saw that there was the new spanish route I was automatically excited before I even noticed which countries were on the list. The past two summers I have been fortunate enough to spend a week on a missions trip in Guatemala serving and loving on some incredible people. As i began to find out which countries were on the list for that route, my eyes lit up when i saw that Guatemala was one of the destinations. When I was there last summer, a piece of my heart was left and I knew without a doubt that I would be going back this year if the Lord allowed it. Our group was comprised of different people this year and we were going to be doing different ministry than we did last year. In my own selfishness, I was thinking that there was no way that we could top last years trip. Boy was I wrong. We had such an incredible trip and the things that we experienced are something that I will never forget. Needless to say, I am beyond excited and anxious to get back to Guatemala so that I can find my heart because that is where it is at.
