Thank you to all who participated in the Gainesville 5K for Kenya! It was a great success! The weather was 50 degrees and perfectly sunny! All together we had 94 participants! We made a total of $1,600 profit from this race!
The Lord definitely provided all that we needed to make this event successful; He even provided food for our volunteers and participants the day before the race! It was a stress-free morning; all the details were completely taken care of. Praise the Lord!
This 5K was such a great start to our fundraising! We appreciate all of you who volunteered and helped us make this event possible. We learned so much, and we now have a better understanding of what works and what doesn’t!
We are extremely excited for our next races; not only to get our communities involved but also to raise awareness about the injustices going on in Kenya!
Our next race will be in Greenville, SC at the end of April. Please be in prayer about the people that God has participating in these races! We are excited to spread the word about the vision that God has given us!
