The other night I was talking to a friend from home and she was talking about her future. She started letting the enemy get a foot in the door through her thoughts and words. She was placing limits on what God could do in her. Possible positions, ministries, influences that she could have were being put on hold due to thoughts of not knowing where to start, being afraid to throw herself out there, and mainly a lack of self confidence in her abilities and gifting.

I told her to stop putting herself in a box! If you want to limit God, limit yourself. If you want to hide His love, His miraculous power, His glory, put yourself in a box. Gift wrap it and hand it to the enemy. Today I was reading John Eldredge’s book “Waking the Dead.” He quotes Saint Iranaeus “The glory of God is man fully alive.” What an amazing truth!

God then pulls out the mirror… and there she was. That big plank in my eye. The past week I have been stressing over what is next. What I can do come July, but mostly what wasn’t an option. What I am not qualified for, what I am not gifted at… No sir. A quick look in the mirror was all I needed. Getting out of this shoe box is exhilarating. I feel alive again. Breaking chains and making claims. I will not be constrained by the worlds limitations but will walk in the authority that Christ gave me!

Today, doors opened… things are happening. Praise God! July is still a long way away on God’s watch. Wildfires have broken out and mountains have been moved in shorter periods of time!

Much love.
