May 12th, our squad was helping rebuild a church in the Sindhupalchok district (epicenter of the first quake April 25th) when the ground shook again. This time the quake registered a 7.4 magnitude on the richter scale, and this second round of destruction was devestating. I couldn’t find the words to communicate what the aftermath looked like, but this video should help give you an idea of what certain areas of Nepal are going through.

Praise God we’re all safe, but please be in prayer for the people here. We hiked to the next village to see what we could do, but sometimes all you can do is pray. It was bad. These people are so broken right now and our hearts are breaking right alongside of them, as this week we experienced just how real it all is.
