After training camp I did not want to come back home to reality of the way life is now. I wanted to leave everything behind right then and there! Coming back to school, and work was hard. Especially with school, I did not have any motivation for studying at all. I also had the fear in the back of my mind of being able to fundraise the money to even be able to go on this mission trip.
Coming back to school and work was exciting because I was able to tell people about training camp, yet stressful because I had missed so much I had things piling up at work, and I was behind with school. Even though in school I did my best to keep up on my own I ended up being somewhat lost. I especially had a huge lack of motivation for school because my heart was only set on going on this mission trip. However, after talking to some teammates and praying about it there really is not that much time left for school this semester, and God does not give us anything we cannot handle. He has us put where we are for a reason right now.
For those who are on the same boat as me in whatever it may be, keep your head held high! God has a reason for us being where we are now, and you never know who you might help without even knowing that you are.
