Only on wifi for a hot second so this will have to be quick. Main points:

1. So blown away by and thankful for the way Jehovah Jireh has truly shown up in every way this week so far, and for this month. From our accommodations to our ministry hosts to the ministry I’m mainly working with to my team .. everything. So thankful and really just so glad to be back in Haiti, I was actually a little surprised by how familiar it felt to me. Definitely pumped for the rest of our time here!

2. So, I fell and busted my knee yesterday after an awesomely grueling hike. Pretty deep so got a nice little hole in my knee. Thankfully didn’t need stitches, so really just praying for clean, infection-free, quick healing! Also, the way my teammates/squad mates took care of me was really special and humbling and I learned more about myself and about the loving care of Jesus through this experience. Frustrating, but very cool.

3. I’ve committed to working with one girl from the orphanage in her schooling for the whole time I’m here, for the most part. Already so in love with this previous one who’s joy and bright smile radiates, every second. But it will also definitely be a challenge because she is very behind. I’m talking basics. So I ask for prayer for wisdom and patience and grace and gentleness and JOY, and through it all, for the love of Jesus to be in and flowing out of my heart, for her and for myself.

Praise the Lord for how He has been providing financially and thank you to those who have been graciously obedient and faithful in giving and praying! Special shout out to my Harvest fam who put together my bag of encouragement, definitely a precious gift I’ve already appreciated several times (:

I still need ~$7000 to be able to so the full 11 months of the race, so I ask for continual prayer for God’s provision as well as for you to consider supporting me financially, either for the first time or yet again. Thank you!!
