So what can happen in a month….
When you realize that you have only averaged about a blog a country the last couple months, there are some gaps to fill in. Frankly a lot has happened just in the last two weeks.
My parents came to visit me in Ecuador with about 30 other parents. They got to see a glimpse of what life has been like on the field. They lived in dorms, took public transportation to ministry, did ministry, worshipped with us, and ate food. (I would like to note the their was more coffee this week than any other week on my race) You should ask them how it went. Actually mom if you’re reading this you should write a blog.
I was asked to Team Lead.
We are now in Peru.
I have a new team. There are on the side of my blog. My teammates are pretty cool people. Check out their blogs.
Oh… It’s the first month of Unsung Heroes for our squad. What is Unsung Heroes? Great question! It’s a month where our goal is to find potential contacts for future racers. What does that mean exactly, it means a lot of prayer. We don’t have a ministry host, we don’t already have a place to stay, and we really only stay in one place for a couple of days. Change is just a constant in our world. Everyday is different and quite frankly plans are changing all the time.
So our mission specifically is to travel to Arequipa, Cusco, and Puno to find contacts. So if you know ANYONE in those areas please let me know.
So if you’re reading this please keep us in your prayers as we are researching, talking, meeting, and praying into where we should be.
Thanks for reading, much love from Peru.
