26 reasons I’m Thankful this Thanksgiving

Yeah, I know that’s a weird number, but I had one more after I got to 25. There has been so much in my journey that I have been so thankful for and I really need to spend more time thanking those who have come alongside me, so what better time than Thanksgiving! So here it goes, 26 reasons I’m thankful today:

I’m thankful for…

  1. The puppy cuddling in my lap right now and the moments like this that I have left to enjoy
  2. The coworker who gave me this computer, so I can write this blog!
  3. The little girls who sold lemonade and cookies to help me with my fundraising
  4. The friends and family who have continually listened to how much I miss Simon, what type of gear I want, how to get my malaria med, what things go with me to training camp, etc.
  5. My parent’s support and continually support in my adventures
  6. My siblings and their families, who I get to see at Christmas!
  7. My House Church, who has grown with me, strengthen me, and has shown me what community means
  8. Those who bought a mug, came to my clothes swap, garage sale, City BBQ fundraiser, or donated
  9. The anonymous donors that I can never write a thank you to
  10. My squad that I’ve only spend such a short time with, but I’m so excited to get to know them better
  11. My team, the ladies that I will be serving side my side. The ones that I’ll walk side by side through our challenges, adventures, and travels.
  12. Those who read my blogs 🙂
  13. The sweet family that is adopting Isaac for 11 months
  14. Those who have crossed my path in a very small way and have decided to share this journey with me
  15. The new home and young rider for Simon
  16. My barn family, who always make me feel so welcomed and loved
  17. The AIM staff and volunteers who are coming alongside us and are pouring into us for this journey
  18. Conversations that happen at 9:30 at night, because that’s usually when I get home
  19. Having two jobs, that are flexible to complete everything that is going on
  20. My Dayton family and how much I have grown to love them over the past 3 years
  21. Those who helped me get my remaining gear for training camp
  22. That things don’t always come the way you expect them and sometimes a long night at the airport can mean money for the trip and sharing a pickle with a little girl.
  23. Your prayers, your prayers have been one of the sweetest gifts of all
  24. Hugs!!! I love hugs!
  25. Your financial donations and the fact that I’m super close to meeting my next deadline!!
  26. Finally, but most certainly not least, I’m thankful for God’s plan in my life and for providing all my needs
