So I’m getting ready for a pretty exciting adventure, but you’re probably wondering how did I come to this decision. Well, here’s a quick life update. I graduated Miami University in 2012 with a marketing degree and went to work for an eCommerce consulting company in Dayton, OH. I’ve been working there for the past three years. Simon joined my a couple months after I moved (which was a huge dream come true). Simon, is the yearling horse that I won in 2005. Adult life has been interesting to say in the least. While, I’ve been at the same company for three years I’ve has almost 5 different positions. We were bought last summer and it’s been an interesting transition. A lot of change in my life, some more challenging than others.
What lead to this decision was the prayer, ‘God what’s my next adventure’. I did think several months ago that was buying a house and settling down in Dayton, but by God’s mercy that didn’t work out and continual searching lead to finding the World Race. Instantly, I said to myself this is amazing, this is an adventure with Christ. This is a chance to see God’s glory all over the world, to embrace life and my relationship with Christ.
So I’ve decided to accept the invitation and go on this adventure. I’m guessing your first question is where are Simon and Isaac going? I’m in the process of finding them the right homes. God and I have been talking about this a lot lately. I’ve had some incredible people calm my heart and offer to help, it’s more of a matter of finding the right place.
