God decided to throw the July 2015 Routes a curve ball… We are launching TWO WEEKS early which means we will be reporting to Atlanta in June instead of July. To be perfectly honest, this news was a serious reality check for me. Leaving early also moves up our next financial deadline. In order to launch with my squad, I must have $7,500 in my account by June 17th. (For donations to be included, checks must be mailed by June 3rd and online donations must be submitted by June 11th.) The new launch date also leaves me with less than two weeks “off” from school before I head to Atlanta, and that just doesn’t seem like enough time to be with the people I love as well as prepare to leave the country for 11 months. But, I am all in, and I will cast my anxieties on Him!
This latest news in NO way makes me think the World Race isn’t my next step. I am so excited about the people that have come into my life because of the WR. My squad is a wonderful group of people, and I can’t wait to actually meet them in person! I do ask for your continued prayers as the new launch date has reminded us all that our plans don’t stand up to God’s plan, but I am excited to see His plan unfold!
