God is doing wonderful things through YOU! Thanks to you, my amazing donors, I have raised 22% of my total goal as of today at 7:15pm which means I met my May 1st deadline of $3,500 in less than a month. Y’all… That is truly amazing! PRAISE JESUS!! The Lord is once again confirming it is His will for me to take this leap of faith.
I must say, this has been quite a humbling experience. Every kind word, hug, and your willingness to support me financially has just been overwhelming. I am in such awe of your immediate and bold support. I thank God each and every day for all of you!!!
A few prayer requests…
Please pray for my squad…
-as we continue to raise the funds to embark on this incredible journey with God. We are so excited to follow His call, far outside of the comforts of home. Sadly, some have not seen financial support come in like they have prayed and hoped for.
-as we build relationships with each other. We are essentially strangers who chose Route 5, so now we will see each other’s best and worst. Living in a community for 11 months with people who we hardly know, sounds a little intimidating… At least to me!
Please pray for MNOPQ squads…
-as they are settling into Month 1. Sweet and adventurous Cassady, a fellow church member, launched on Saturday and is spending Month 1 in Ecuador.
-as they continue to raise financial support while they are on the field. With limited access to Internet, their friends and families begin to take on some extra roles- Be in prayer for them as well!
Please pray for the families of World Racers…
-whether their Racers are on the field or launching in the coming months. There are many Racers, like myself, who find themselves surrounded by people who are cheering them on with everything they have. Sadly, there are Racers who aren’t receiving the same support including parents who don’t approve of their decision to be a part of The World Race. Pray that their family and friends will also put their trust in Jesus while their Racer is away.
THANK YOU for your various forms of support! I just don’t think I can say how much I appreciate each and every one of you!
Joyfully yours,
Mary Catherine
