Wowsers!!!!!! Today was an amazing day. I organized a Community Yard Sale AND Dessert Night with dessert auction for today! Who plans 2 huge fundraisers in one day? I know, I’m crazy right?
Let me say it again, today was amazing (even my 1 hour stressed out, freak out time was useful, thanks Amy for making me take time to just BE). I can’t begin to express my gratitude. I feel so loved, blessed, supported, & cared for! There are so many people to thank. Today would not have been possible with such an amazing family (biological & church fam that is!).I can’t begin to thank everyone in this avenue, but know you are loved and I feel SO full tonight.
Although it’s been the LONGEST couple of day of my life (& probably a few other people’s lives too!), we raised:
$433.75 in Yard Sale Sales,
$230 in Table Rentals @ said Community Yard Sale,
$78.35 in BBQ sales, and
$495 at Dessert Night & Auction.
That folks, is a $1237.10 kind of day. AND we got to eat amazing desserts…so delicious. (Guess what we’re having for snack tomorrow at church folks!?)
FUNDRAISING UPDATE: When I add up my current WR account balance, recent donations I’ve received, fundraising amount from today, and pledged amounts….I am 73.7% funded! Only $4267.70 away from being fully funded. Although I have time after we launch to get the rest of my funds in…My goal is to be fully funded BEFORE I leave.
