Yes, I am officially in the Kingdom of Thailand…that’s the 2nd Kingdom this year has taken me to. While there is a LOT of turmoil in Bangkok which we are aware of, know that we are in no way in danger. Instead, we are staying on an island off the coast called Koh Samed (spelled several different ways depending on what sign you look at!).
I left Delhi, India with a bang, the Saturday before leaving (we left on Monday) I was out with some teammates in the market, started not feeling well, and by the time I got back to the house I had a full on kidney stone attack. I’ve had plenty of experience with kidney stones in my past, so there is no mistaking my diagnosis. Laid out in absolute pain I bolted through the front door and ran so that I could drop as quickly as I could in my room. As the pain got worse my mood got worse, I curled up in a ball finding no comfortable position as usual for a stone. Some of the squad sat with me and prayed for healing, some went to get pain killers from the pharmacy, some couldn’t stand to be in the room. I hated the feeling, why? why again? I don’t understand it at all. But through it all, God is good and I merely had an attack for 1 night. It’s healing in it’s true sense. I unfortunately doubt everything, and need to get rid of that mentality. God healed me. I need to stop waiting for another attack and trust in Him more!
On another note: Through many people who obviously love me dearly, I now have a new computer! Because of this, ALL my India pictures are now online as well as a few from Koh Samet, Thailand!!!!!!
