Ok race fans here’s the scoop. I am on a new team this month. Esther is still on the team but she is the only one from my original team. The third leg of our little team is Tamara from team Lego. We have decided that the name of our team is Team No Espanol. Yes , that’s right none of us speak Spanish and we are ATLing around Central America. What is ATLing you ask? Well, Ask The Lord what he wants us to do today. It’s a purposeful way of going through your day. But in this it’s a bit extreme. We are living in such a way that we fail if God doesn’t show up. A bit scary. But also extremely exciting.

We are starting in Granada Nicaragua today (the 7th) and by tomorrow night if all goes to our plan we be in Leon, Nicaragua. If God changes the plan then we do that. This is the town we felt we are supposed to go to. How long we will stay and were we go after that is up to God. Our only real date we have to follow is April 8th. We have to be in Antigua Guatemala to meet the rest of the teams.

Here is my disclaimer for all you moms and dads out there that just freaked out. We will be checking in with AIM every few days to let them know were we are and how God is working in our lives. So you don’t have to worry.

This is a huge opportunity for us to grow and stretch in our walk with God. We are all three very excited about the journey God will take us on.

Oh
yeah one more thing. Just to make things more interesting we are living on 80% of our “normal” (you can read that as tiny) budget. This is to encourage us to ask God to provide for us instead of relying on our own abilities. Already he has done so with getting us a free ride to Granada and free lodging for the two nights we are here. What a way to start out!
