Thank you Pastor Jason, Pastor Drake, David Waterstreet, Gina Gibson, and my family for your prayers and counsel as I began this journey. Thank you Pastor Drake for your leadership and guidance in my fundraising efforts. Thank you Rene Vite, Brezzy Zembas, the Norris Family, and the Waterstreet Family for coordinating fundraising events. Thank you to all of the many volunteers who gave of their time and talents during these events. A very special thank you to Sue Kinsley for her hard work in preparing letters, designing brochures, publicizing and preparing literature for fundraising events, etc, etc, etc. I could see God work through the body of Christ as people came forward to offer their gifts to this cause. “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 14:5.
January is here already? I was first accepted to the World Race in July. I spent a month in prayer, visiting with pastors, friends, and family, seeking God’s will. Once God confirmed I was to participate in this mission trip, the task of raising $17,000 began. My question along with others was how is it possible to raise this amount of money in four months time? I was led to Mathew 19:26 “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” And Mathew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” God is good! I started off with a goal of $17, 000 on September 1. God provided through His people, $17, 200+ including those who are giving monthly! Thank you to all who have given and are giving monthly. God will do a mighty work though the money you gave. A special thank you to Fuel Youth Ministries and The Maranatha Class for your contributions.
