I love being able to get out of the city and see all of God’s creation. I love to see all of the little critters that crawl, swim, walk, and fly with their backs to the sky. I always love just to go out and look at the stars at night when there are no city lights to block them out. Its great to look at all of God’s creation and know that everything points to His glory.
There has been a new realization when admiring all of creation. All of the animals are always going to do exactly what God put them on Earth to do. The stars are always going to point to His glory and show us just how small we are. The sea calmed as soon as Jesus said “Peace be still.” Even rocks will proclaim Gods glory when people wont.
We are the only part of Gods creation that will not follow His commandments. Because of our sin nature we can never do exactly What God put us on Earth to do. God knew this even before he created the Heavens and Earth. He Still chose us to love. Jesus died so that we could be with God. Imagine the heartbreak that God fells when we disobey him. Because we are sinners, even our best works are like dirty rags to him.
Even with all the bad that we do we are still loved. Jesus died for us so that we could spend eternity with God. This is the best news that anyone could ever hear. The sad news is that there are people who have not heard the Gospel. Romans 10:13-15 says ” For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written “how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.”
All believers should spread the good news to their families, friends, neighbors, and people around the world. There is a reason that the Great Communion is not called the great suggestion. we all need to tell everyone the good news.
