Starting this blog is difficult because there is so much to say! First off, I would like to share a major praise report…I AM FULLY FUNDED! Thank you all so much for the various ways you have invested in this journey! I would not have gotten to this point if it weren’t for all your generous gifts and prayers. When I heard this news, to say I was speechless is an understatement. Before I reached this point I had been having doubts that God wants me here. The first month I fought those lies from the enemy but now after becoming fully funded God has affirmed that He has called me here! God has already been doing some big things in my life and in the lives of others since the start of this journey. My mind can not even fathom how He will continue to grow and stretch me through the next nine and a half months! Again, I thank you all for investing in this journey!

The last few weeks have been quite the whirlwind! After a month in Serbia, my team and I met up with the rest of our squad in Tirana, Albania. For a fews days we spent time as a squad debriefing and processing our first month. This was a great time to relax and regroup before another month of ministry.

The second month of the World Race is a month where the whole squad (45 people) do ministry together. After debrief the whole squad came to Lehze, Albania to assist LightForce International. LightForce International is a Christian organization that has ministry’s in Uganda, Albania, and India. Their Albanian campus allows them to run children camps and conferences. The camp is self-sufficient because it doubles as a farm. They have sheep, pigs, goats, and chickens. For the past week my squad and I have been serving this ministry by helping with daily farm chores and construction projects.

Working on the farm was the plan for this whole month but God had other plans in mind. Our squad leaders surprised us with some very unexpected and unforeseen news. As a squad we were told that we are needed in Lesbos, Greece to assist in the Syrian refugee crisis! We will be teaming up with Samaritans Purse to provide medical assistance, warm clothes, warm meals, and hope to those coming from the turkish border.

After we heard the news, we spent a few days finishing up some construction projects for LightForce and praying for the upcoming ministry. Please pray for saftey as we travel from October 21st-23rd. This work will be emotionally and physically exhausting so pray that the Holy Spirit continues to give us strength. Also, pray for the refugees as they are scared and unsure of what their futures look like. Pray that as a squad we are able to love the refugees just as Christ loves them. I will try to send updates as soon as I can. Thank you in advance for all your prayers!
