I should preface this post with a blog I read earlier today. -Why You Should Be Writing At Night- I follow Jeff Goins on twitter and have found many of his articles extremely helpful in the avenue of writing, particularly blogging. This one struck me this morning, for it rings true with times that I write. Thoughts simply flow better in the serenity of the evening!
U2's "Stuck In a Moment You Can't Get Out Of." Rice Krispies with week-old blueberries and a mug of green tea. Oh, how I love that Tazo Zen… SIDE NOTE: I forgot how quickly this cereal gets soggy. But it keeps on crackling! So cool.

I would call myself responsible. I believe that people see this sense of responsibility in myself as well.
Let me end my cockiness and display a few recent truths…
I lose things… A LOT.
I manage my money…just alright.
I have been given the responsibility of being the financial leader of the team. As 7th Heaven's Eric Camden always said, "God works in mysterious ways." I know I can do it with His help, but it will definitely be a challenge no doubt! I am flying down to Atlanta a day early with the rest of the leadership for some training regarding this role.

-Converting money
-Making spreadsheets
-Writing receipts
—> -Keeping track of a debit card that is not my own. 🙂 <—
-Other things that will be made known to me in a few days
Confession: I'm nervous. I think I'm more nervous than I should be.
Giving it to God…even now. It's really not that big of a deal, I just want to be sure that I carry out this duty with excellence.
If there is anything that YOU can pray for me about this trip…this is one of the top items on the list.
I yearn for…
-Humility
-Wisdom
-Knowledge
-Understanding
-Assertiveness
-Humility
I pray that this will be a growing experience and that God will be glorified through my handling of finances this year.
Matt. 6:31//Phil. 4:6
I think that's it! I'm sure there will be plenty more "Finance" updates. 🙂
And I end on John Ondrasik's King of the Earth.
God is good. I'm ready(?) to tackle those ATM machines!
