Pace (Peace) from Draganesti Olt! Today marks one week here and so much has alreadyhappened. This month my whole squad (44 people) is living together and serving in the same region. The first five days here the whole squad has been taking on projects such as handing out Bibles in neighboring villages, construction projects, picking up trash, and prayer walks.
The past couple of days, our ministry hosts blessed us by planning a trip to Greece. We drove 13 hours overnight and had two days of beach relaxation and are now just over three hours away from home. These two days were so amazing and I feel so blessed to have gone to such a beautiful country.
But as we were getting ready to leave I realized that I have no idea what I am doing tomorrow. I have wanted to write an update explaining what we are going to be doing this month but, unfortunately, I have no idea. The next three weeks we will break back into our teams and serve alongside different ministry hosts. We will still be living in the house with 44 people but all of our teams will be working in different places. From what I have gathered, my team will be in the next village over and we will be teaching English, after school mentoring, logistical and office work, small groups and some construction.
It is hard not knowing what we will be doing but there is a beauty in fully trusting in God’s plan for our ministry here. In the meantime I am so excited to see how God uses us in the beautiful country of Romania.
Prayer Requests
Please be in prayer for our ministry that we will be able to face each day with a new energy. Romania is beautiful but is spiritually dark, being called a missionary graveyard.
Please pray for my teammate Molly as she continues to raise support. If you feel lead to give to her please check out her blog (link on left).
Lastly, please pray for my team as we continue to grow together amidst our 37 other squadmates.
