Let me tell ya, my heart could have exploded with happiness this month.

For real.

My day to day agenda was different every day. I had some of the best people on this earth as my contacts. Pastor Solomon and Lilly. They treated us so well. They are my Ugandan parents and I love my Ugandan home. My team was the bomb.com and we had so much fun together. If you want to get to know someone better, tell them your childhood stories, throw a frisbee and say a fact after each toss, write poems about yourself, watch The Lord of The Rings, have pillow talk at night, Bible studies that challenge your walk with the Lord, walk through banana trees, pray together, have candle light dinners, pig out on chipati, goodness there is always something to do and bless others with.

I had many "firsts" this month.

Help deliver babies in the maternity ward. I didn't pass out! Amen. I prayed over the moms and did other..stuff.

Tell people about Jesus in an Ugandan market.

Work in an HIV clinic pre-packaging drugs, singing songs in the waiting room, bringing hope, and finding the cutest little baby.

It wasn't my first 5k, but my 2nd. We ran with M Squad and had a blast.

Attended a Ugandan wedding.

Hold a baby on my back. Which I absolutely LOVED doing.

Bungee jump. WOW, I'm still on an adrenalin high! SO FREAKIN COOL!

Other "firsts":

  • ?I've had kusava roots for breakfast.
  • Lived with no electricity or water
  • Slept on the top bunk for the first time this year. (I was terrified, but now I can do anything since I bungee jumped..ha!)
  • Enjoyed sweet potatoes to the max
  • Lived on the Nile River
  • Ate Tilapia
  • Helped lead worship. Thank you Lord for freedom!
  • Door to door evangelism
  • Prayed with someone facing spiritual attacks from witchcraft
  • Played volleyball with Ugandans
  • I, for the first time, actually thought goats were cute

I had so much fun in Uganda! It blessed my socks off. I experienced so much joy, my heart was and is constantly so full. I fell more in love with Jesus because of what He showed me this month. Although it was great, I did shed some tears. Some hardships happen and you are faced with a wall to climb over. That's when I just face it, see what I need to do and how to react, and deal with it. Get over myself and move on.  I had many first adventures and memories were made that I'll remember forever. Thank you everyone for your support, I pray God blesses your heart so much that you'll feel like exploding too! It's the best.
