This is what I did all month. My arms look like I have a crazy disease and my legs aren't too far behind. Every morning at ^6:30 sirens would come through our community. It was so loud and it was just for BREAD. I mean, c'mon. Pretend an ambulance is coming through with the sirens on times ten. WACKO. Then the tamale lady would come
at 6:45 and yell, "TAMA-LLLLEEEEEE!" for about five minutes. My body soon adjusted to the noise and I would wake up a little before
6:30 every morning anticipating the sound.
Anyways. My time in El Salvador was so amazing. I loved every minute of it, even the crazy noises. I might as well get use to it, it's noisy all over the world. We went to schools and loved on the kiddos and shared our testimonies. We went to the hospital and saw God heal bodies and spirits. We went to church many times during the week and although it got tiring, when your asking God to move, He will. We even had a beat boxing contest. I had delicious food and the main dish in El Salvador are pupusas. I would try to explain it to you, but I have no idea how. Just know it's delicious. I got sick and the doctor diagnosed me with an El Salvadorian infection that attacks your joints. It was so painful, but with everything you have a choice to make. I chose to walk in my healing and to let people help me instead of holding everything in. My team is so supportive of everything that goes on and I love them with my whole heart. I loved our hosts, they blessed my heart in many ways. I can understand more Spanish, not necessarily speak it yet, but I can understand. I went to a salon and got my hair washed and fixed. It was the first time I felt clean and like an actual woman. It really is the little things. I saw the glory of God move every day. Whether it be a break through in someones life or a smile from a child. God moves in everything. He protects my heart, He prepares me, He loves me. I can see the growth that is happening and I am willing for God to do whatever He wants. I am so glad we are on this journey together. Intimacy with The Lord is a beautiful thing. To know who your Father in Heaven truly is, it's the most sweetest feeling that I never want to lose.
My prayer right now is that "He must increase, but I must decrease." John
3:30. His grace is sufficient and His promises hold truth. Thank you to all of you that are praying. They are mighty prayers and I appreciate them so much. Love y'all!

This is the town square of San Vicente, El Salvador.

This is our traditional family picture. I think it's hilarious.

This village impacted my heart. A woman was healed and many came to know Christ. I also got some good tummy laughs for myself and for this little guy.

This school is where the beat boxing contest happened. Of course I didn't try,it was Brent and the kids, but the kids were awesome!

This was on our last day of ministry. Best friends for life right here!

In the market getting smoothies in a bag.

This is when we got our hair done. I literally almost cried with tears of joy.

I held a bird this day for the first time! Also, many came to the Lord and we did a skit that changed lives.
