Squad leaders- who are they, what do they do, and how do they make an impact on the squad??
These are three wonderful people who encourage, call out greatness, and seek our hearts for purity. Our squad leaders: Erinn, Rebekah, and Joshua, have been an incredible transition for us since the Philippines when they were first announced as such.
I have had the privilege of having all three of them on my team- Rebekah was actually my team lead for the first four months of the race!!
In each of these individuals we get to see their heart and how they serve the Lord best. They have been with us through thick and thin, and often they get put on a new team each month- almost making it seem as if they themselves do not have a team. On the contrary though, not only do they have the team of the three of them- they also are a part of each team they go to- they are not an addition, they are part of the puzzle that is missing.
When in Cambodia, we constantly counted the people and we knew we were a team of 6, but once we became a team of 7 it just seemed like we were then a full team. Similarly for them- the teams feel incomplete without them, and they each do such a beautiful job transitioning into the family for that particular month. It has been a joy to have them with and calling us each to higher standards on the race!! Thanks for beings such a huge blessing: Bex, Err Bear, and Joshu!! 🙂
