Today has been a whirl wind of emotions! Between going to bed late (as you spend time with your squad in worship), to getting up early to be ready for the airport, and then having one flight domestically to the midwest and then having a long layover. It has been exhausting, and the question of “how are you feeling” comes up more times than you can count.

Nonetheless. I am so extremely happy that this has FINALLY arrived! I have been waiting months to sit in the position that I am in right now! We have flown to Chicago and had a 10 hr layover, and then we will be boarding an international flight to Soul, Korea (14 hours in the air), and then we have a 15 hr layover in Korea, and then we board our last flight to CAMBODIA (5 hr flight).

The traveling gets to be exhausting, but the people that you meet along the way is unforgettable. I have loved having conversations with my squad mates and team members, but I also love the people that provide service for us while at the airport. Today, I was able to talk to a woman, named Ewa (Eva), she is from Poland and has been working at the O’hare airport for the past 24 years. She has helped raise two of her grandchildren, and could not be more excited to be able to provide a valuable service in America to those traveling to and from! She recently had surgery on her jugular from have a allergic reaction from some medicine she took, but she’s such a trooper! She is loving life, and walking in so much JOY- even though the recovery from that surgery took her away from work for over two months! How incredible that she still had optimism through a sucky situation!

These are the types of people I look forward to interacting with. These are they types of people that provide some positive energy to me in my life, and I have 11 months to seek them out! Whoop whoop!! I will try to share as much as I can of the people that I run into! πŸ™‚

Side note– we found out where we will be for our 11th month of ministry.. Drum roll please!….

WE are going to SPAIN!!!!!! πŸ™‚  I am so excited to share that with you guys!!!

Prayer requests– I would love it if you guys could pray for safety on our flights, health as we will be traveling and eating foods that our bodies are not used to, as well as unity within all of my squad mates. I love them all dearly, but I don’t want the “honeymoon” phase to wear off and to then have us be vicious towards one another!

Thanks for all of your love, support, and affirmations to me while I venture out on this journey! I love you guys!

Please contact me via email or facebook messages from here on out as my phone is no longer in service until further notice! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
