So I wanted to write a blog about some of the things that have become normal on the World Race.. that wouldn’t be at home.. lol prepare to laugh, because it’s about to get real! ๐Ÿ˜‰

-no toilet seat..yup..those quads and glutes get lots of work!

-never having toilet paper …you’ve been warned! Bring baby wipes and tissue paper. (Also you learn to take extra napkins from restraunts whenever you can)

-unshaved legs and armpits.. it’s an accomplishment if you get to shave them.

-consistentely being drenched in sweat and never feeling fully clean.. deoderant is your friend!

-peeling skin on your face, arms, legs, and head from the sun roasting you to a nice crisp..yes..causing dandruff! (Lovely stuff it is..lol)

-being overly excited about being in an airconditioned hostel where you finally get to sleep in a sleeping bag and cuddle up!

-showering in one room right next to a toilet and sink in SE Asia.. yup! It’s real folks!! Lol.

-squatties!! The stank is real folks! Lol

-being so in need of alone time that you just stick your headphones in for a bit of you time without anyone saying anything to you for not responding. Lol

-drinking coffee with chunks of grounds in it simply because you still need the caffeine..regardless of what it takes!

-getting attacked by monkeys and or having them steal from you.. beware the monkeys! Lol they are troublesome little gremlins. Don’t let the cuteness fool you!!

-wearing the same pair of shoes every day for an entire YEAR! Haha sexy crocs are where it’s at! ๐Ÿ˜‰

-thinking that 4 dollars for a meal is expensive because it’s your entire days budget! Lol

-wearing the same outfits for 3 days in a row because… laundry is lacking and..why not? Lol

-sleeping in airports..or anywhere really for extended periods of time. You get really great at “just making it work”.

-shoving 6 people, all of your day packs, and big packs into one uber in order to try and stay in budget for transportation! Africa’s transprotation taught us how to really squeeze..lol

-walking in to the middle of the street into traffic to cross the road is no big deal lol. Once again…thank you Africa.

-apparently you can fit 3-5 people on to one motor bike at a time… lol sometimes the occasional dog! (Not kidding!!) Lol SE Asia doesn’t mess around with making the most of their space.

-every new place you go to…immediately learning to ask if the tap water is okay to drink.. trust me. Lol

-learning how to barder !

-dealing with currencies that make you look like a baller because their bills are so high.. it can get confusing when you switch currencies so often. Let me tell you!

– when eating meat.. sometimes finding skin and hair still attached to it. Not kidding!! Lol. Madagascar I loved you..but the meat scarred me. No lie. Lol

-riding in public transport in Africa with a live chicken that is getting ready to be eaten.. the poor souls. They don’t even know…

-It is perfectly normal to not figure out where you will be sleeping until the night of at 8pm..wondering if you were going to need to camp out, outside of the Indonesian airport.. lol seems ligit enough..right?

So there ya have it folks!! Some of the random normalcies that I live in everyday that make this adventure that much more fun and exciting! Hope you enjoyed it! ๐Ÿ™‚
