Ministry in the Philippines was awesome! We were able to do a mixture of things: run a camp for children in the mornings, do some gardening projects, help out at a snack shack, and put on a beauty for ashes event!
Most of those are pretty self explanatory. However, I want to explain a little more about the beauty for ashes event! For this event, we inited women from the surrounding area to join us one morning for snacks, massages, nail painting, and speaking/messages. Each of us on the team decided to speak on one topic, ranging from worth to forgiveness.
30 women ended up showing up. It was incredible. We were able to pour into them, and they were able to pour into and encourage us.
