Greetings from Botswana! It is Month #7 of the World Race and we are, once again, a new team (sort of). Our sister, Corrinne, is continuing her Race with a new, all-girl team, so that makes us a team of 5 (plus our awesome Squad Leader, Sam, who is joining us for the first 2 weeks). After a week without a name, we've come to call ourselves "Led", which is the very nature of this month. We are on special assignment: to seek out and find new ministry partners (Unsung Heroes) throughout this nation. These are people who are bringing the Kingdom, reaching out in love, and giving everything they have to serve the Lord and the people who surround them. The World Race wants us to find them, meet them, and hear their stories, in hopes of sending teams to work with them in the future! We feel incredibly blessed to have this opportunity to unite as a team and be led by the Spirit!

So what does our month look like? Well, quite a bit different than months past. We do not have a host or scheduled ministry – our ministry looks like listening prayer, internet research, making phone calls, sending emails, and befriending complete strangers everywhere we go. We meet up with potential leads who in turn give us more leads and…you get the picture. We are responsible for finding our own places to stay and must remain within our lodging budget (it's not very big – we will be tenting most of this month!). We shop and provide our own meals, again staying within a given budget, and arrange all of our own transportation around the country. Needless to say, this month requires a team effort and the Lord's wisdom and direction. We are counting on Him to protect us, provide for us, and show up in HUGE ways.

Please be in prayer for our team as we proceed with the month! We can't wait to share how everything unfolds! Expect many mini-blogs along the journey!

Love,

Team "Led"
