“Dear blog, I don’t want to write
you. Writing you means I’m leaving Cambodia.”
I know that many of you expected me to
say this at the end of every month, but I truly did not want to leave
Cambodia! It has been my favourite country so far on the World Race.
I feel like part of me came alive. I don’t have any huge
life-changing stories to share with you, so the only way I can
explain it is to say is that my heart was content.
I will miss the people more than
anything, but I will miss life on the island as well. As hard as they
were, I’ll miss our English classes. Someday, I might even miss the
annoying rooster or the squatty potty, but I doubt it!
Cambodia has left an imprint on my
heart, and I can only pray that we have left an imprint in return.
I had no intention of writing this
blog, but I just wanted you to know how much I’ve loved this month.
It’s funny… my two favourite months this far have also been the two
most difficult. I do love how God works.
