After a month of transitions and a
week-long all squad debrief in Bangkok, we are finally settled at our
new home in Chiang Mai, Thailand! We’re staying at Lighthouse in
Action
and will be building relationships within our neighbourhood.
The majority of our ministry will take place in the evenings, as we
reach out to the unreached, the people that society casts aside and
looks down their nose at. This month promises to be full of
challenges, but I am growing increasingly confident of a God who is
more than able to help me overcome them.

The guys on our squad separated from
their teams for a month of “manistry” so it’s just us five girls
(and our Thai translator, O). If you know me at all, you’ll
understand when I say that it won’t be the easiest thing in the world
for me. However, I am looking forward to the bonding that will
happen, to the closeness that will develop and to the experiences
we’ll have together.

Please pray for us. We’re fighting a
battle this month, and it’s not against flesh and blood. There will
be hundreds of things that will try to come between us as a team and
that will try to prevent our ministry. Please also pray that this
month would be entirely God’s. Our team is striving to spend more
time together in worship and prayer, and I can’t wait to see what God
is going to do through that.

Thank you to each one of you.
Thank you
for reading my blogs, for commenting,
for emailing me words of
encouragement,

for keeping me updated on life at home, for prayers, for financial support,
and for being supportive of what God has
called me to do,

even if it doesn’t make sense.
I appreciate it all
more than I could say.
