No, it did not just rain,
and no, I have not been paralyzed. I’m in Georgia. It’s hot. Most of
all, it’s humid. It doesn’t matter whether I’ve just dried off after
a shower, or whether I’ve gone for a half hour walk/run, or whether
it’s first thing in the morning and I’m snuggled in my sleeping bag
for warmth… I am dripping wet ALL the time. We stopped questioning
where the smell was coming from once we realized it was us.

As far as not being able to
move goes, I’ve made a discovery! Our bodies are way more intricate
than I thought. I’ve discovered muscles that I didn’t know existed
and, oh boy, are they ever making themselves known!

Despite all that, training
camp is amazing, powerful, passionate, awful, challenging, rewarding,
heart-wrenching… you name it. It’s a roller coaster ride of
emotion. I’ve seen God do some mind-blowing things already, and we’re
not even halfway through. I can’t wait to share all these things with
you!

Pray for my team,
affectionately and logistically known as Q Squad. My next blog will
introduce to you these wonderful, creative, united people, including the small team of God-lovers I will be living with for
the next 11 months!!
