On my most recent sabbath day, I went to Esteli, Nicaragua with a group of my friends. It was so much fun! We walked around and went into the little shops. I found Peter Pan peanut butter!! And a loofa (see recent blog post about the loofa)
The group I was with found a really nice place to have a hamburger and french fries with a Pepsi and the tip for C$100(Cordobas) which is about $4 and some change USD.
The hamburger was SO GOOD!! It was a little different than a regular hamburger but I think that is what made it taste so good!
A few days later, I was talking to someone and he said, just be aware that if you eat a burger from Nicaragua it will most likely be horse meat..
I ATE A HORSE.
I never thought I would say that. And I am sure I will eat other crazy things while I am on this crazy adventure..
But I can officially say, I have eaten horse.
