UPDATE******* I made the deadline!!!! I was $1250 away from it this morning, and totally made it this evening! I GET TO LEAVE IN JANUARY!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING!! Please keep in mind I still have two more deadlines to make, one in March and the final one in June.

Let's be real here..

It is 12/5/12 and I have 5 days to raise $1,480

I would be lying if I said I wasn't really worried about it.

Am I going to make the deadline?

If so, where is the money going to come from?

Honestly, I'm freaking out a bit.

This mission trip is already hard enough.. 11 countries in 11 months is taxing. Being away from home for that long is kind of scary to think about. Considering how long it will take to travel to each country drives me crazy. My team is going to hate me when they realize how ADD I am… A 36 hour train ride..??? um…

None of that has happened yet.. I am safe here at home with my 15 minute drive to work and three meals a day. Not to mention my comfortable bed.

The money aspect of this whole thing freaks me out at times.

I have been working a lot to try to save up some money for this. I was wanting to bring some spending money with me. Can't go to Africa and not raft the Nile! But, in the hopes of trying to reach the deadline I sent in the money in my savings account. It wasn't enough to get me there, but it got me closer.

I have to make this deadline. My team is my family. My whole squad is my family.

So maybe….

Whatever your situation right now, will you consider partnering with me in this mission journey?
