Hi my name is Makenzie Baker! I am from Purvis, Mississippi. I am 20 years old, and a junior at the University of Southern Mississippi. I am a public relations major with a non-profit studies minor. I am also a cheerleader for the university. And best/favorite for last, I am the youth assistant at my church.
I have felt called to missions since I was in the 9th grade. Since then I have taken every opportunity that God placed before me to go and serve. I have served in the states and overseas many times. I have a heart for the lost everywhere, but God recently opened this opportunity for me to serve on the World Race. After much debate with God, as my human self always does, and seeking God for his wisdom and his will for my life right now it is undeniable that this is where I have been called for the next 11 months.
