In the days since I got the four minute phone call that changed my world (BEING ACCEPTED TO THE WORLD RACE) my heart has been through a hurricane of emotions. ..In the best way.
I’ve cried with excitement, jumped with joy, been embraced with love, and my soul has been completely electrified by the Lord.
I am utterly overwhelmed and thrilled to discover what the HE has in store for this next chapter of my life!
For quite some time the Lord has been calling me to be a part of something greater. He has asked me to stop comparing my success to the success of those around me. He has asked me to surrender my fearful heart to his BOLD plan for me. He has been both gentle and relentless with His call and I am putting every ounce of my trust in Him and answering this call with a resounding “yes.”
Our Father has a way of knowing your heart better than you do (He crafted it with his very own hands after all), and because of that He knows exactly what your heart needs and exactly when your heart is ready to receive it.
I’ve been praying about the prospect of being a Racer for years. LITERALLY YEARS!
But the Lord has a way of bringing your prayers to fruition in HIS time. You just have to be patience and TRUST his answer, no matter how timely.
The World Race is more than your typical mission trip.
It is an extraordinary discipleship program that gently pulls participants out of their comfort zones and encourages their spiritual development.

Yes, I am getting the chance to call these 11 different countries home, but it is SO MUCH MORE than that. These are also the places that I am getting the opportunity to spread hope, grow in faith, and share the love of Jesus, but most importantly these are the countries that God will be using as his tools to teach ME more about my identity in HIM.
His timing is NEVER a mistake. It is ALWAYS perfect.
I CANNOT WAIT to see, hear, do, and learn all of the things the Lord has planned for me and my squad!
He has lit a fire deep in my soul that cannot be contained and I am beyond excited to take this beautiful journey with HIM!
