God is so good!!! My heart is overjoyed with the exciting news I have to share with you all! This is a celebration blog! My last blog was all about the little girl, Chosen, who stole my heart with her story. But the two days in Suan Peung was just the beginning of our role in her life. This past week we discovered more about her which has blown my mind with goodness!

Her mother is Karen (Karen people are from the refuge village in Suan Peung), which means she has no citizenship anywhere. She left awhile ago for work and has not been back since. Her father is a Thai citizen, but disappeared years ago and no one from the village has any knowledge where he is. Come to find out because of her parents Chosen does not seem to exist to the world. No parents. No documents. No birth certificate. No citizenship.

You are probably wondering, What exciting news comes from this?

Well with God’s sovereignty we can get this little girl the documents she deserves! To be able to do this for her we need five witnesses of her birth, 5,000 Baht (~$160), and your help. We have the five witnesses however they can not afford to miss a day of work to come. Therefore the 5,000 Baht covers each one of their days income, transportation to the district office, and the processing of the papers for Chosen.

By granting her documents she has the ability to go to school, live legally anywhere, hopefully raise herself out of poverty, and most importantly receive FREE healthcare treatment from the local government hospital! With Chosen’s severe heart disease free healthcare will be a huge celebration! Not a day goes by I do not think about Chosen and how dear she is to my heart. I get goosebumps thinking about the opportunity to hand her citizenship, healthcare, and the chance for her to reach her potential in this world. God has blown me away with his perfect timing and the gift he has given me to be a part of Chosen’s life. He has me exactly where He wants me to be.

I pray you will partner with us in this celebration. Chosen is just $160 dollars from being a Thai citizen which opens up many more doors in her life. I know together we can provide so much more for her! Because my team is only in Thailand a little bit longer and we have the five witnesses agreeing to come we need this to be a super fast process!! Will you help? For 48 hours you can donate at http://www.ywamthai.org/donate/?to=RatchaburiIn the specific purpose/note section put ‘Chosen’ so our hosts at YWAM are able to set aside that money specifically for Chosen! Also I would love for anyone who supports to post a picture on my blog in the comments so I can show Chosen all the supporters she has next time I see her! She will love to know how loved she is. CAN I GET A HALLELUJAH AMEN ON THIS BIG CELEBRATION!!!!
