Remember when I said I was none to keen to return to Romania? Remember when so many of you responded to my honesty with commitments to pray and hopes that this time would be different? Do you feel your prayers have been heard? If you don't this post is for you.
– In our last church service we saw the fruit of our freezing flyer handing out efforts in the presence of a handful of high school student, Kinga (below) who we met at her job, and the knowledge that Adela's family planned to return in future weeks. Slowly yet surely a new church in the city is being born.
– This sweet sister cried as she said good bye to us. She is a faithful and hearty women who showed up often to trudge through the villages with us and pray powerfully. My favorite part was watching her shower the kids with treats, slices of bread and hugs, and the parents with faith based materials written in their native tongue.
– The elderly man we had been visiting passed away on Friday and, wouldn't you know, our team was invited by his widow to the service. Not only to the service but members of our teams preformed the service. Is there anymore clear way to stand in the chasm between life and death then to proclaim Christ at a funeral?
And, guess who held my hand thru the whole service…love this girl!
– For me, my prayers for healing are growing in confidence and my understanding of the Lords love broadening. A huge praise!
Using a myriad of tactics the Lord has redeemed Romania for me so, I would say, your prayers and mine were heard. Frankly, He has responded on a far grander scale than at least I was praying. I wonder what would happen if I stretched my brain and started praying bigger and bolder…?
What do you think?
