My
life in Chincha.

Dear
Friends, Family and 24!

Wow,
do I miss you guys! I have already been brought to tears thinking
about you…many of your voices, your laughs, your jokes, the
comforts you bring to me…there are times were I truly miss those
things and I miss being in your presence. I miss knowing that I
could easily get up and go see you. But I know this is where I am
called and where God wants me right now so life is good and I’m doing
well here. God is working in me and through me which I love!

So
I wanted to share with you about my life here in Chincha. You
already now about ministry so this is the stuff that happens at camp
at the end of the day. We are staying at a church for free living in
the dusty courtyard in our sturdy tents! My broom and dust pan are
my best friends! I am doing laundry by hand, trying to keep all my
clothes clean. And praise the Lord we can take showers everyday. So
we have yet to “rough it”.

Our
team gets together and has a time of worship daily…myself, Gretchen
and Teagan have accountability time, and we are studying Luke 4-11
and the books of Acts. Sarah and I have found ourselves praying
together which has been good. I am exercising every morning! And
our favorite past time has been volleyball.

As
some of you may know we (Team Isaac) won the first race! We ran all
over the city and at the end of the day the race led us to white
water rafting…it was a lot of fun. We have a day off each week and
last week we had the greatest time!!! We went to a city named Ica.
We found ourselves in a cab with a man named William who knew how to
speak English!!! We went sand boarding which was soooo fun! Blake,
I thought of you here…you would love this! It scared me to death
and I took a hard fall on my second run…my butt hurt for days! We
also rented a doom-buggie…that was awesome. Then we went to a few
wineries and a chocolate factory. We swam for a while and then
headed home. So it was definitely a fun filled day.

So
Yeah that’s my life so far. I can’t wait to see what this year has
in store for us. I love you guys and I’ll talk to you soon!
