I'm just a body.
My boobs.
My butt.
You look at just that. That's all you see of me.
Look into my eyes.
I've been told they are such a deep blue that they hypnotize.
But you don't see beyond them.
You don't see beyond this body.
I know it's perfect. It was made by a flawless potter.
Men,
I dare you; look at me and see past my body. Can you see into my soul? Can you know me? I was made to be known.
Women,
Stop comparing to me, I'm tired of comparing myself to you.
This body is a sanctuary.
When you touch me, you touch the Holy Spirit.
When you look at me, you look at Jesus.
Do you know that when you lust over me, you sin against me?
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
(Matthew 5:28)
I am sealed with the promised Holy Spirit
because He is in me and I in Him.
Stop your perverse jokes on my behalf.
You don't insult me, you insult my Maker.
The King of the Universe.
I was meant to be admired not taken advantage of.
I'm more than just a body.
